Teaching Volunteer Program

Project details Eager to be a volunteer Teacher in Sri Lanka? The International Volunteer Teaching project gives volunteers a great opportunity to help teach English in schools for people with disabilities, preschools and village homes in Trincomalee. Volunteers gain teaching experience while sharing their English expertise and skills with local students who would otherwise not be able to access language lessons.

Rural Community Development

Curious about Rural Community Development volunteering in Sri Lanka? International Volunteer Rural Community Development project is an exciting chance for volunteers to experience traditional village life in the remote countryside. These farming areas are often underdeveloped with a lack of resources, skilled people and economic development. Volunteers gain experience in community development while helping with a wide range of tasks that contribute to the long-term goals of the local people.

Program Requirements

Volunteers must be 18 years or older at the time of joining the project. You need to have an open mind and a flexible attitude for working in a new and different environment. The volunteer should bring energy and enthusiasm to make a difference. Participants must be fit and healthy at the time of joining the program. Participants should have no criminal convictions.
